Sasha stands in the doorway looking at the goblins, who look back at her with the sheepish expressions of kids caught with their hands in the cookie jar. The spell of mutual stupefaction is broken as Poot sidesteps into the room and lets fly an arrow in a long arc that skewers one of the goblins in the shoulder. Yola then pushes past Sasha with a yell, ready to strike at the goblin standing on a marble table, vase in hand. Sasha draws her rapier and charges up the other side of the table.
The goblin on the table sees Yola coming and tries to smash the vase over her head as she charges in. She gets her arms up to deflect the blow and suffers only some minor cuts, then sweeps the legs out from under her assailant with her staff. Poot lets fly another arrow at the goblin he wounded moments before. This time the shaft catches the goblin full in the chest, and the creature goes down for good.
The rest of the goblins have picked up their weapons and charged in to meet Sasha and Yola with snarls. Some wield their dog slicers, some red hot tongs dripping with molten glass. One jumps up on a table and hurls a glass swan at Yola, which shatters spectacularly against the wall beside her. Sasha meet the charge and pierces the first goblin to meet her through the heart.
Okay! Surprise round and round 1 complete. Two goblins are dead and a third is wounded. Yola has taken 1 hp from the vase to the head. Gerund and Seoni come bursting through the door at the opposite side of the room this round on their initiative, so I need actions for round two from everybody please. View the combat log here.

Yola - goes towards Gobo #4 trying to break his legs with the quarterstaff, using her barbarian rage.

Sasha getting her second wind jumps on to the table. Seeing the vile goblin distracted between two possible attackers she thrusts toward the monster's heart.
AS she battles the little snot Sasha calls out to Poot from across the room "Next time I'll get you for this halfling!"
Seoni allows Gerund to rush forward (assuming this is his plan), and then fires Magic Missile at Goblin #2 with the tongs - he looks the most dangerous.
Letting an arrow fly from his height on the crate at gobo #6, Poot addresses Sasha,
"Oh, I don't know, everything seems to be working out smashingly. No pun intended my dear Yola."
Gerund rushes in to help his sword at the ready. Screaming a charge he rushes at Goblin 5 [and, if I can somehow cross that distance in a single round and attack...] swings his sword at any goblins he can reach, moving off to the side, North by northwest, leaving a clear path of fire for Seoni's magic, but making a lot of noise and drawing attention to himself, so that she has time to prepare without goblins descending upon her.
